  • 12 corn tortillas
  • Lime wedges (to serve)

Instructions

  1. Soak guajillo peppers in hot water until soft. Blend with garlic, onion, cumin, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  2. In a large pot over medium-high heat, sear the beef on all sides until browned.
  3. Pour the marinade into the pot with enough water to cover the meat. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low.

  5. Shred the beef using two forks and return it to the broth.
  6. Warm corn tortillas in a skillet until pliable.
