  • 8 corn tortillas

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken in a pot of salted water over medium heat for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
  2. Shred the chicken using two forks after it cools.
  3. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, and salt until well-combined.
  4. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet until pliable.
  5. Place about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture on each tortilla and roll tightly. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  6. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat; fry the flautas until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with sour cream and guacamole.
