- 1 wheel Camembert cheese
- 100g lardons (thick-cut pork belly)
- 1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought)
- 3 large eggs
- Fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary), chopped
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface until thin enough to cover your pie dish.
- Sauté lardons in a skillet over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until crispy.
- Add sliced Camembert to the skillet, stirring gently until melted.
- Off heat, whisk eggs with herbs and black pepper; fold into the cheesy mixture.
- Place puff pastry in a greased pie dish, pour in the filling, and fold excess pastry over top. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
