Creamy Beef and Shells

A comforting one-pot meal featuring tender pasta shells enveloped in a rich, savory beef sauce that’s sure to please the whole family.

  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Salt, pepper, Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 6-8 minutes until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent (3-4 minutes).
  3. Stir in uncooked pasta shells and beef broth; bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Lower heat, mix in heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Simmer until pasta is tender (12-15 minutes).
  5. Top with shredded cheese; cover briefly until melted.
  6. Serve hot with garlic bread or salad.
