  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, parsley, onion, garlic, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, prepare tzatziki by mixing yogurt with grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and chopped dill.
  6. Once cooked, assemble each pita with meatballs and a generous dollop of tzatziki.
