  • ½ cup walnuts (finely chopped)
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk and mix with yeast; let it sit until foamy (about 5 minutes).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, and salt. Create a well in the center and add yeast mixture and melted butter.
  3. Mix until combined, then knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about an hour until doubled in size.
  5. Prepare the filling by mixing chopped nuts, cinnamon, and sugar.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread melted butter and sprinkle nut mixture evenly.
  7. Roll tightly into a log, cut into 12 pieces, and place cut-side up in a greased baking dish.
