  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup chopped toasted pecans
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine flour and melted butter until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  4. Fold in half of the chopped pecans into the pumpkin mixture. Pour over the baked crust.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. Drizzle warm caramel sauce on top and sprinkle remaining pecans before cooling completely.
