Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract; whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently fold together until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together additional sugar and cinnamon for the swirl filling.
  6. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter, sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then top with remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown; let cool slightly before drizzling with glaze made from mixing powdered sugar and heavy cream/milk.
