  • 12 large portobello mushrooms
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup plain breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushroom caps and remove stems; set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chopped green onions and cook until softened.
  4. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, crab meat, sautéed garlic mixture, lemon juice, and half of the Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  5. Generously stuff each mushroom cap with the crab mixture and top with breadcrumbs and remaining Parmesan.
  6. Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
