- 12 large portobello mushrooms
- 1 cup lump crab meat
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushroom caps and remove stems; set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chopped green onions and cook until softened.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, crab meat, sautéed garlic mixture, lemon juice, and half of the Parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Generously stuff each mushroom cap with the crab mixture and top with breadcrumbs and remaining Parmesan.
- Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
