  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms (button or cremini)
  • 1 medium sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by slicing the ribeye steak against the grain for tenderness and chopping mushrooms and onions evenly.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and mushrooms until tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high and add ribeye slices. Season with salt and pepper; cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Top with provolone cheese, cover, and let melt for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Slice hoagie rolls open (not all the way) and toast if desired.
