Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thick; cut into squares.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Fold diced apples into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each pastry square; fold corners over and seal edges with a fork.
  6. Brush with egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
