Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb white fish fillets (cod or haddock)
  • 6 slider buns
  • 1/2 cup tartar sauce
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1 cup romaine or butter lettuce, shredded
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper; place them on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
  3. While the fish bakes, slice the slider buns in half and toast them lightly in a pan until golden.
  4. Assemble each slider by placing shredded lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by a baked fish fillet, tartar sauce, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
  5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over each slider before serving.

Keywords: For added crunch, consider frying the fish instead of baking. Customize your sliders by using chicken or different sauces like sriracha mayo for a spicy twist. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days; reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
