  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice (preferably day-old)

  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt half the butter. Add the steak strips and sear until browned (about 3 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Then add the diced vegetables and stir-fry until they soften (about 2 minutes).
  3. Add day-old rice to the skillet along with soy sauce, mixing thoroughly to combine. Cook for an additional 3 minutes to heat through.
  4. Fold in the remaining butter and green onions before serving hot.
