  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme (chopped)
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Stir in melted butter and eggs into the yeast mixture, then combine until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface, spread melted butter mixed with minced garlic and chopped herbs evenly on top.
  6. Cut into equal pieces and shape each into a ball. Place them close together in a greased baking pan.
  7. Cover again and let rise for another 30 minutes until puffy.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
