  • 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups all-natural tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parsley, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Form mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear meatballs until browned on all sides (about 5 minutes).
  5. Transfer meatballs to an oven-safe dish and pour tomato sauce over them. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
