  • 4 oz Swiss cheese, sliced

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice thinly.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add sliced mushrooms and garlic powder; sauté until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  3. In another skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Toast sourdough slices until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Layer sautéed mushrooms on each toasted slice and top generously with Swiss cheese. Cover with a lid and cook on low heat until cheese melts (3-5 minutes).
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
