  • 2 tablespoons culinary lavender buds
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 cups filtered water (1 cup for infusion, 4 cups for mixing)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water; add lavender buds and steep for about 10 minutes.
  2. Juice the lemons to yield approximately 1 cup of lemon juice, straining out seeds.
  3. In a pitcher, mix 1 cup of sugar with 4 cups of cold water until dissolved.
  4. Strain the lavender infusion into the pitcher, then add lemon juice and stir well.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and lavender sprigs if desired.
