  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup apple slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the pork shoulder on all sides until golden brown (8-10 minutes). Remove and set aside.
