Ingredients
  

For the Liver Preparation
  • 1 pound beef liver sliced into thin pieces
  • 1 cup milk for soaking
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
For the Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Liver
  1. Soak the sliced beef liver in milk for at least 30 minutes to reduce bitterness.
  2. After soaking, rinse the liver slices under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. Season the liver slices with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Cook the Liver
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the seasoned liver slices to the skillet.
  5. Cook the liver for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
