Prepare the Liver
- Soak the sliced beef liver in milk for at least 30 minutes to reduce bitterness.
- After soaking, rinse the liver slices under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Season the liver slices with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Cook the Liver
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the seasoned liver slices to the skillet.
- Cook the liver for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
