Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken strips with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Make the Sauce
  1. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and sliced pepperoncini peppers, cooking for another 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combine and Serve
  1. Return the chicken to the skillet and mix well to coat with the sauce.
  2. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top and cover until melted, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
