Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
For the Topping
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (pistachios, almonds)
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and heavy cream.
  2. Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in the cocoa powder and granulated sugar until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a lined baking dish and spread evenly.
Bake and Cool
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bake the chocolate base for 25 minutes or until set.
  3. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the dish.
Prepare the Topping
  1. In a small bowl, combine the chopped nuts and shredded coconut.
  2. Once the chocolate base is cool, sprinkle the nut and coconut mixture evenly on top.
  3. Finish with a sprinkle of sea salt for extra flavor.
Serve
  1. Cut the chocolate into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.
  2. Enjoy your Dubai-Style Chocolate with a cup of coffee or tea!
