Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon salt for boiling water
For the Steak
  • 1 pound sirloin steak sliced into strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
For the Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.
Prepare the Steak
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the sliced sirloin steak with black pepper and add to the skillet.
  3. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the steak is browned and cooked to your liking.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, chopped parsley, and lemon juice.
  2. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
Combine All Ingredients
  1. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the steak and garlic.
  2. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the pasta and steak, tossing to coat evenly.
  3. If the pasta seems dry, add some reserved pasta water to reach the desired consistency.
Serve
  1. Divide the pasta among serving plates and garnish with additional parsley if desired.
